The Effective Health and Safety Representative

We will help you to be an effective and confident H&S rep, build a good understanding of health and safety framework, and how you can help improve your workplace. No previous training is needed.

Who is the course for?

Those nominated by their branch to be health and safety representatives. No prior training is needed.

What will I learn?

• A basic understanding of the health and safety legal framework
• How and where to find health and safety information and guidance
• The role and rights of a health and safety rep
• How to be effective in addressing collective issues
• How health and safety can help grow the union in your workplace
